Norfolk & Better is a 1,500-acre family-run farm led by Dr. Peter Dawe and his son, Alex Dawe, alongside a dedicated team of hardworking, passionate individuals.

Together, we are committed to producing high-quality, ethically reared food, ensuring full traceability and minimal food miles.

Once solely an arable farm, Norfolk & Better has grown into a diverse, sustainable operation, where everything we produce is carefully crafted right here on the farm.

We take pride in our food's provenance by doing everything on the farm—rearing our livestock, butchering our own meat, crafting award-winning cheeses, milling our own flour, and soon, pressing our own oil.

Stoneground Flour from Our Mill

Using wheat grown in our own fields, our flour is milled on-site using traditional stoneground methods, preserving the natural flavour, texture, and nutrients of the grain.

Strong white, strong wholemeal and plain, every bag is carefully produced for exceptional baking whether you’re making sourdough, pastries, cakes or everyday loaves.
