At Norfolk & Better, we take pride in producing high-quality, ethically reared meat right here on our farm in Carbrooke. Our animals are raised with care, ensuring they live healthy, natural lives, resulting in meat that is full of flavour and of the highest standard.

JAGYU™ Beef – So Good, We’ve Given It Its Own Name!

Mainly grass-fed on the ancient fens of Carbrooke, our JAGYU™ Beef is produced naturally, allowing the animals more time to mature. This results in beautifully marbled meat with a wonderfully unique flavour.

Our 100% full-blood Wagyu sire is crossed with pedigree Jersey cows, producing a rich, tender beef unlike any other. We ensure our beef comes straight from our fields, is hung for a minimum of 28 days, and is butchered on the farm for ultimate freshness. Our JAGYU™ is 100% British produced, beef assured, and fully traceable, with low food miles.

Home-Reared Lamb – Naturally Raised on Our Farm

Our grass-fed lambs are raised naturally, roaming the pastures of Carbrooke and growing slowly to maturity. This results in tender, full-flavoured lamb, perfect for everything from slow-cooked shoulders to delicious cutlets and roasting joints. Our commitment to ethical farming ensures high-welfare lamb with full traceability and unbeatable taste.

Woodland Pork – Free-Range & Full of Flavour

Our woodland pigs roam freely, foraging in their natural environment, which gives their meat an incredible depth of flavour. The result is succulent pork with a firm texture, perfect for roasting, slow-cooking, or enjoying as handmade sausages and bacon. Our pigs are raised with care and respect, ensuring top-quality, ethically produced pork.
