Norfolk & Better Stoneground Flour

At Norfolk & Better we grow, harvest and mill our own wheat right here on our Norfolk farm in Carbrooke.

Our flour is stoneground in small batches, preserving flavour, nutrition and the natural character of the grain. By controlling the process from field to flour we are able to produce a consistent, high-quality product trusted by both home bakers and professional kitchens.

We grow carefully selected wheat varieties including Soissons and Crusoe, chosen for their excellent baking qualities.

Our flour is perfect for sourdough bakers, home bread makers, pizza dough, pastries and everyday baking.

Our on-farm flour mill was supported by funding from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE), helping rural businesses diversify and strengthen local food prouction.

Plain White Flour

Typical protein: 11.3%
A versatile everyday flour ideal for cakes, biscuits, pastry and general baking.

Strong Wholemeal Flour

Typical protein: 13.5%
Stoneground wholegrain flour packed with flavour and nutrition, perfect for sourdough and rustic breads.

Strong White Flour

Typical protein: 13.5%
A high-protein bread flour ideal for sourdough, artisan loaves and pizza.
