Our JAGYU™ beef is so special we’ve copyrighted it’s name, so no one else can degrade the brand.
Unlike much Wagyu beef, Our animals are sired by a full pedigree Wagyu bull, to Jersey dairy cows which are also renown for the quality of their meat, (though not the quantity), hence our name JAGYU™.
For most of the year, our beef is grazed on our ancient Carbrooke Fen meadows, browsing on it’s wide range of grasses, herbs and even bushes and trees. When the fen is too wet we bring them in and feed them from our own fodder crops. Our JAGYU™ beef is produced naturally allowing the animals more time to mature, the beef is very tender and the Wagyu Jersey cross gives a high level of marbling giving our meat that “melt in the mouth” quality.
